40 shades of green

Oh this green and pleasant land! Such a joy to walk through the green green grass of home and smell the lush scent of morning dew as the birds twitter in excitement of a new brood while squirrels hastily consume as much fresh vegetation as possible. But hark! what is that dark looming cloud over the horizon? Is it a storm approaching if so then surely we must welcome the sweet fresh precipitation driven by angels wings to water the seeds of life itself.

Of course the black cloud has sod all to do with sweet rain! According to some fanatics the darkness about to descend upon this great earth of ours is the darkness of GLOBAL WARMING the thing which if not controlled will kill all living creatures on the planet. Scientifically proven so they say.

Other places along the internet super highway will tell you differing versions. I have read studies that say we will need to stop all but the most essential production of energy via carbon based fuels or we will all be frozen(boiled depending on your view)to death within 100 years.

Other research tells me that the whole planet is gong to just get warmer with fewer frosty days while yet another source predicts a shift in climate so as to turn the seasons upside down with the northern hemisphere being more closely aligned to the souther hemisphere and while the UK and Canada may benefit from Mediterranean splendour the southern tip of Australia will become a year long Ski resort for the rich and famous.

Personally I see the whole climate change confusion designed to help the rich get richer and another reason for the government to give away our money. The condemnation coalition of liars fraudsters and tax avoiders have decided on our behalf that we shall reduce our carbon footprint by 50% compared to 1990 emissions by embracing new technology for the generation of electricity and we shall also drive forward the fight against global warming by introducing the highest carbon footprint taxes throughout the western hemisphere. Big cheers all round pats on the back and no doubt back handers for all involved in the introduction of this idiotic policy.

In simple terms the following things will happen....The money set aside for the incentive to install solar panels to private housing will be taken up by those who can afford to pay upfront and re-claim the cost from government along with the benefit of selling surplus energy to the grid via the tax payer. Multi national companies will rush to these hallowed shores to invest heavily in new factories making giant wind turbines whose collective output will be equivalent to 75% of the energy used to produce them. Planning permission will be given to all who wish to contribute to the reduction of our carbon footprint regardless of the impact on the local environment (after all as long as there is electricity to power the stock exchange those in power will still make a living) The carbon footprint tax will inevitably force many companies already generating wealth within and for this country to up sticks and move somewhere more suitable to their needs like China or India where no doubt they will be given grants to help them get started, the money coming from the Billions of pounds given to those countries by the UK government.

Every household in Britain will be paying an extra£1.05p per week on their energy bills to help the foreign owned companies who now own the utilities to pay for the changes, not forgetting that when these changes are fully operational the cost will rise again by another 25% at least because of the ludicrous claim that generating energy from sustainable sources is more expensive. For fuck sake it costs nothing for the wind nothing for the waves so apart from a small amount of maintenance and spare parts after the initial investment these companies will be literally taxing us on the air that we breathe as it passes over their precious wind turbines.

As for myself, Hopefully I will be long gone before this shambles of a system of government is finally overthrown and the people actually do get a say in what they want and how their country should be run. As it is 90% of these measures being brought in by this shining example of hypocrites are being delivered under the guise of it is what Europe wants us to do. The bland following the bland into oblivion are allowing them still to walk away with everything while we sit idle.

To hell with Global warming it is time to start stirring the fires of rebellion and get the people warming to the fact that there is something they can do now to stop this.GET OUT OF EUROPE NOW.
