Poor parents make for crap parents

It was Nick wot said it
What do the condemnation factions have in common?
Both sides are getting more and more desperate to try and justify the steps they are taking as more people become aware that the measures they are taking are not only misguided but have nothing whatsoever to do with anything the Labour government got wrong, take education as one small indicator:-
An ICM survey revealed last night that 42% say the government is doing a bad job of reforming schools with only 23% thinking they are doing the right thing.
23% is an interesting figure as it is well below the percentage of votes either party got at the election.
More and more voices from within this condemnation are trotting out the same excuse for every little thing people moan about and that excuse is that LABOUR LEFT A GIGANTIC HOLE IN THE ECONOMY SO WE HAVE TO FIX IT. What a great pity for the condemnation though that people all around the country are not stupid enough to believe that crock of shite. Yes Labour spent an enormous amount of money over the last few years of their tenure in power but the majority of that money was to bail out inconsiderate fraudulent minded bankers feathering their own nests at the taxpayers cost.
Increasing demands for the banks to lend more to small/medium business are still falling on cloth ears as the condemnation are finding out that you reap what you sow and having allied themselves to the cause of IT WAS LABOURS FAULT they have very little leverage to force bankers to lend as they say it was not their fault in the first place. Indeed having suffered less than a slap on the wrist during the *emergency* budget they(the bankers) believe they have paid back enough and it is time once more to quaff the champagne and grill the fillet steaks and fuck you lot.
Yet the arrogance is not confined to the bankers, the government’s attempt to engage the public in ways to curb spending and help pay back the (Labour) deficit resulted in over 100,000 suggestions, 44,000 coming from the public, having trawled through them and getting rid of the totally absurd they now want people to vote for what they think is the best Ideas unfortunately not one of these ideas will make it as far as the committee due to the way it is posted on the web site, one example is the European Question 100 suggestions made, 63% being the same basic message of get out of Europe now with a joint vote of well over 3,000 but as the highest single vote is one of 367 that no doubt is the one they will quote when dismissing it in its entirety.
Just as they
(the condemnation) have decided there would be no referendum on the Lisbon treaty
as promised…..
But we shouldn’t moan as David has everything in hand to boost trade both home and abroad as he has enlisted the help of another of Maggie’s favourite sons:-
Prime Minister David Cameron has appointed former Tory Home Secretary Leon Brittan as a trade adviser.
He said the peer, who was also trade secretary under Margaret Thatcher and later became an EU commissioner, had "unrivalled experience".
Lord Brittan will start the £500-a-day full-time job next month and remain in place for six months.
Yes that’s right £500-a-day for the next six months the equivalent to £175,000 per annum to sit on committees and mumble or reminisce with former gold diggers from other European countries (great job if you can get it), I doubt however that he will be value for money as most of Europe unlike the UK has moved on many Europeans preferring to take the line of “if it is British I don’t want it without a back hander from their government”( a back hander which will probably be on offer before long as it is the only way some in government know how to do any business).
Meanwhile in good old style politics and designs on being seen as “green” what about this load of bullshit from Nick:-
The Green Deal could benefit up to 14 million homes, with the most inefficient saving around £550 a year, with the outlay recouped through energy bills. Details of the plans will be set out in legislation later this year.
"Green Deal Finance will allow householders to make their homes more energy efficient, saving on their bills, without the need for them to provide up-front finance," he said.
"Homes account for a quarter of all emissions in the UK, and this is no longer a problem we can ignore. With some of the oldest housing stock in Europe we also face a huge challenge."
The Deputy Prime Minister's comments came at the launch of a low carbon business support programme which the Government hopes will lead to the creation of 10,000 new jobs and 1,000 firms.
I know what my views on this are… Bollocks the recycled claim of better insulation which has been in place for the last ten years that I can recall having worked for a while with Warm front distributing grants for free cavity insulation as well as loft insulation during that time, the interesting part of his screech is to me the promise to save on their bills without the need for them to provide up-front finance… so it is going to cost everyone in the long run then?
The support system they talk about is also worrying as this measure was unveiled in the north east of England where they have just removed one of the most effective quango’s in ‘One north east’ responsible for among other things Nissan being in Sunderland bringing in far more than they cost over the years and their (the condemnation) replacement strategy is to provide resources to create 1,000 private sector firms employing 10 people each? Just which fucking planet do these morons live, but one can hardly expect more from the man who believes that poor families make for crap parents or am I reading his comments wrong about parental responsibility and how those on lower incomes do not push their kids enough to help them escape the “crime” of poverty.
Nick Clegg provoked fury by blaming bad parents for holding back working-class children.
The privately-educated deputy prime minister said good mums and dads were the key to a child's fortunes.
Yes alright Nick some will believe you but the majority who are unable to read
will no doubt miss your name or the name of other Lib Dem candidates at the
next election which will in my humble opinion come a lot sooner than the five
years you and your condemnation allies predict….
